West Virginia - On November 21, 2003, the 20th Judicial District Circuit Court gave preliminary approval to a settlement that would allow purchasers of Microsoft products between December 9, 1995 and December 31, 2002 to receive settlements of $10 for all Windows purchases, and $5 for MS-DOS, Word, Office and Excel purchases. The total settlement amount is $18 million, and the current claim deadline is November 3, 2004. All of the above amounts are for Windows purchases only; Mac products are not eligible for the settlement.
