Florida - announced settlement for $202 million,
and preliminary approval granted in April 2003 - the deadline for filing
claims has been extended, no final deadline has been announced.
Details of settlement are as follows:
- $12.00 for each license of Windows except as below.
- $5.00 for each license of Office (specified in Appendix A2).
- $5.00 for each license for Word, Excel, MS-DOS, Windows versions 1.0 to 3.2, Windows NT Workstation, and Windows 2000 Professional
Settlement allows claims for up to 5 products with no documentation. The maximum individual claim is $60.
